Your Essay #4 is an Argumentative Research Essay. For this essay, you will address a debatable, ethical issue and demonstrate an awareness of the rhetorical situationaudience, purpose, context/situationof that issue. You will argue a position with a qualified thesis that is specific, clear, fresh, and realistic, as well as provide specific, organized support/reasons for the argument with evidence. Finally, you will acknowledge opposing viewpoints and identify assumptions and consequences of various positions. Your 3-4 page paper will need to contain at least 3 carefully researched sources, 2 of which must be from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals (a separate assignment this week will help you locate such sources).
