Realism, Liberal Institutionalism and Constructivism all agree that anarchy is an important influence on the behavior of nation-states in the international system. Yet, each system of thought stresses HOW, within anarchy, a state can behave differently and thus can lead to different global outcomes.
For this essay 1) give an overview of each theoretical point of view, 2) describe how the logic of each would lead to DIFFERENT state behavior and outcomes in an anarchical international system and 3) give your thoughts on which theoretical standpoint (or standpoints) is the most convincing and why?
