You will answer 7 short answer section about the book and its author. The questions will ask you to critically analyze the book and its author. Answer each section separately as each section will be graded separately. Answers placed in the wrong location will not get credit.

4.)What was happening during his during his life that made him decide to write his autobiography. What happened to him after he published his story. Do NOT say that he wanted future reader to know his story or that he just enjoy writing.)
5.) Who was the intended audience? Why do you think so? How was the book received by the audience?
Be specific in which group of Americans he was aiming this book at and explain why you think that is the target audience. Answer all the questions above.

7.) How did the book affect you? Were any previous ideas you had on the subject changed, abandoned, or reinforced due to this book? What personal experiences you’ve had relate to the subject?
