1) Discuss why countries like the US and Britain would rather pursue bilateral or regional trade deals than in multilateral organizations like the WTO. For example, Brexit and the UKs withdrawal from the EU, the US withdrawing from TPP and negotiation of the USMCA (new version of NAFTA). (2 points)
2) Select a foreign country (non-US) and discuss two economic and/or cultural challenges that you might face in entering and marketing your product or service in that country. Provide an example of barriers you might face in the country you choose. (2 points)
3) Select a multinational company (not the same one youre doing for your group project) and discuss the challenges it may face in marketing its products globally given the (i) Covid-19 pandemic; (ii) supply chain constraints; and (iii) other challenges like climate change. How should its products adapt given these challenges? Respond to each of the three points. (6 points)
