Once you have decided on your topic, print out the Problem Definition Worksheet below:
Problem Definition Worksheet.docx
1. First, decide on an initial problem statement just by looking at your topic (the one chosen from the list in the week 2 instruction). Do this first cut PRIOR to doing any research on the topic. Write your Problem Statement (1st cut) on the worksheet.
2. Then, list the facts & analysis you will need to know to really understand the problem.
3. Spend approximately 1-2 hours researching the issue. Document your research in a separate word document, name the document Research & Analysis and upload it as a separate 2nd file in this assignment in Canvas.
4. Finally, complete the Problem Definition Worksheet. Create a new Problem Statement (2nd cut) based on your completed problem definition worksheet and information.
5. Upload your Problem Statement Definition Worksheet and your Research & Analysis word document in Canvas.
