(3-4 sentences) 2. Explain why you think being “media literate” is important today. Select a specific ‘quintessential’ quote from the text, explain what you think the author is trying to convey and link it to why you think being media literate is important today. Use specific examples from popular culture to support your contention. (4-6 sentences) 3. What is the distinction between high culture and popular culture according to the article “Consuming and Producing Culture”? Do you believe we need these distinctions? Explain your reasons, either way. (2-4 sentences) 4. How does the author Dzifa Benson reconcile between her unabashed engagement with popular culture and her role as an ‘artist’ in high art?
