The purpose of this test is to determine the effectiveness of the search functionality of
Google.
The test will be administered to five participants (subjects) one at a time in a classroom
on a Windows PC. Each test should take 15 minutes. Subjects will be given a question to
be answered by googling the topic. The number of clicks (navigation links) needed to
answer the question will be used as measures of efficiency. The accuracy of the responses
will provide measures of effectiveness. User satisfaction will be measured by the
subjects responses to the question On a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 meaning least satisfied
and 5 meaning most satisfied, please rate your satisfaction with how easily you were able
to answer the question using Google.
