In Class Thesis Exercise
You will be placed in a breakout room with a partner. You will have two of the readings assigned from this semester to practice crafting a debatable thesis for your upcoming literary analysis paper. Consider the piece, the literary elements we have studied this semester, and then craft a debatable thesis statement for each. You may use the thesis essay exercise document as a template. Submit your work here for participation credit.
We will then regroup. Each partner will select a thesis and present it to the class. Discussion of each will follow. Find your assigned breakout room readings below.
