Technology continues to become of even greater importance to our global economy. Some note that Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation will drive huge changes in the workforce of the future. Even today, we can see many jobs that are being replaced by technology (robotic warehouses, chatbots/automated customer service, driverless vehicles, robotic surgeries, etc.).

Technology has brought some new products along with services to our lives to help us become more efficient and to help make life more enjoyable. Technology can also bring with it disruption such as changes in the labor market which may increase inequality or could result in an overall increase in jobs (jobs may be in different sectors).
