Do try to have some framework for a place (i.e. New York City), a timeframe (decades are idea, say 1850s not in the 1800s), and some limitation (a group, i.e. Irish immigrants, or a thing (a building, park, etc), or an issue (i.e. racism, sexism, classism, poverty), or a movement or theme (i.e. fashion trend, architectural style, civil rights, modernism).
