Reflection Assignment Description
Students will be required to informally reflect on their clinical experiences daily. Students will complete formal reflections based on a situation that occurred in their clinical practice setting. A reflection template will be provided to help organize thoughts, feelings and analysis. The formal reflection is to be written in APA format including a title page and reference page. Students will receive feedback from their Clinical Teacher based on their self-reflection in the Weekly Clinical Feedback Tool. Students must demonstrate evidence of incorporating scholarly references into their reflections. All written documents submitted must include the Academic Integrity Pledge on the Title Page. Please see the critical path for due dates.
Year 2 Requirements for Self-Reflection:
Maximum of 2 pages, plus title page and reference page
Include 2 scholarly references (I.e., journal, textbook, Best Practice Guidelines)
Must address one course learning outcome per each reflection. Each reflection must address a different course learning outcome.
