Since this is a personal college essay , I want to start off with writing about doube eyelid tape lying around on my desk and my mom always asking me about why I use them. Then flashing back to a memory where my mom would call me ugly for having monolids. It would really hurt me as a child and question my identity about being a asian and not being as pretty as the white blonde girls. Next I would want to include how this changed me as a Asian American growing up. I would always be extremely conscious of how I looked which is why I always try to look my best anywhere outside of the house. This would spark a intrest in me in business because I would always buy clothes online that would somehow make me prettier. This makes me wonder what drives me so crazy into spending thousands of dollars on clothes, the marketing strategy that comforts peoples mind with pretty clothes? The weird obsession people have with being pretty? (questions like this etc) You can close it off with any ending that sounds heartwarming.
