After watching the video, consider your own first impressions throughout different facets of your life. Think of how you might portray yourself in a job interview, compared to how you portray youself with your friends. Do you talk differently to your grandmother than you do to strangers on Twitter? Consider the underlying message from the video when addressing the bullet points below.
1. What image do you want to project of yourself to the world?
2. How do/would you conduct yourself in an interview, what impressions do you intend to make and how do/would you prepare yourself for this? Include in your explanation a potential job title and company/industry that your first full-time position might be in after leaving college to enter the workforce.
3. Considering we act and talk to people differently based on our social groups, what social media accounts do you have (list them all) and how would you be viewed by a potential employer if they were able to access your account, regardless if they public and private accounts? What impressions are you projecting of yourself from Linkedin to Facebook to SnapChat?
4. Lastly, from the video, what currently could be done to set yourself apart from others? How can you set yourself apart from all the other applicants or workers?
