My reaction to this quotation is that how hard it must have been not only as a human to go through this process but a child going through it giving us the details of a hard time they went through. Giving us the feeling of the tragedy, she went through, so we understand better. Showing us pathos in this quote. Also, like humor a connection to other childhood who have gone through this situation.

This makes me wonder about the many and millions of emigrate kids who have lost their parents in this rough situation and had to think that they didnt have loving parents and dint know that they are doing everything they can to give their kid a better future even if that meant leaving your kids a while. This quote just shows us how its a sensitive topic like Meiosis to try and not understand her parents reasoning on why they did this.

My reaction to this quotation is just how strong of a person you had to be to come to terms with this situation you had to go through and come to terms with it and accept it and move and with your life to become a much stronger person. This quote gives us an anaphora like I was a victim to give the sentence power and have the reader more engaged.
