Please answer these questions as one flowing essay of 3-5 pages. Your paper should have an introduction that includes what the paper will do and you should have a conclusion that recaps the important points. You should have section titles for the intro, each main question, and the conclusion (in bold, preferably). You should cite our class material before anything else. Cite in the text (Author last name, year) (meaning in the body of the essay where you use this material), and make a works cited page. Even though this is a short paper, this exercise will good practice for later. Your papers must be typed, double-spaced, and have one-inch margins. You may cite outside sources but your first objective is to cite class readings, lectures, and films. Papers that do not cite properly and do not cite class material may receive a lower grade, including an F. You may use whatever format you like (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago ). One of the more important issues to become familiar with is how to cite material from the internet. When citing web sources, you must put the author, year, and name of the article before you add the weblink address. A weblink alone is insufficient. You may type our paper in a word processor software (Word, Pages, Docs ) and upload to Canvas, or you may type your paper in the Blackboard processor. (This means you can also paste your paper into the BB processor). These rules will apply to all essays.
