Each student is required to submit an Internet Research Paper at the next lecture, which will be Wednesday, October 12.
The purpose of this paper and your research is to survey and review the following four martial arts styles currently being practiced in the world, which are Judo, Savate, Tang Soo Do, and Tai Chi. Each student is required to summarize each of the four different martial arts styles in approximately one page each. Basically, describe where the art began (country of origin), distinguishing or unique features of the art, and any other pertinent information that can be covered briefly, yet clearly.
This exposure to various martial arts styles will expand your knowledge of the differences, but also the similarities between those arts which are more physically focused vs. those that are more balanced between mind, body, and spirit.
