Select one theme that you encoutered reading ancient literature and write an essay showing how this theme/idea is carried out in the story. Select one major theme from the Epic of Gilgamesh and/or from The Old Testament, and develop a thesis with a minimum of three examples from the text showing how the theme is developed through the story. Essay, 500+ words, 5+ paragraphs. The first paragraph introduces the topic and all relevant facts and ends with a thesis sentence that contains the topics for at least three middle paragraphs. Each middle paragraph develops the topic with examples and quotations from the text of the story. Use only primary sources as your source, the literature. NO quotations from secondary sources are allowed. Follow MLA rules attached.
