Describe your historical archival object then explore it. Your fourth exploration is the second one that requires you “go back in time.” For this Exploration, you are likely continuing to explore something related to what you did in Exploration 3. Remember, it is a description and exploration, not an essay, and should be focused on another piece of evidence from the archival resources discussed in class. After you describe the object and its contents, you can “explore” any thoughts or ideas that make sense to you. This is not a research project beyond the discussion of this object, but if you have any background information or want to discuss other materials as part of the exploration of your archival object, that’s okay too—but you must cite your sources using MLA in-text citations and a work cited list at the end.
