This paper is designed to demonstrate an understanding of a theory/concept that was covered in class by applying it (no outside/additional research) to a real life situation (not a TV show, movie, social media event, or hypothetical) you have experienced or observed. As an example if you had a cross sex friendship, or observed a friend or roommate in a cross sex friendship, apply some of Dr. Wegers findings (maintenance activities, reason for the relationship, how it ended, etc.) to this experience. If you have experienced Cognitive Dissonance (or personally observed someone who experienced this) apply some of the concepts Dr. Katt covered in his lecture. You also can apply the Conflict Lecture (styles/approaches, game theory, etc.) and the research lecture as well. Review the specific elements below to make sure you meet all of the requirements for this assignment.
