Reply with 100 words for the following post ,  it is about Schizophrenia   In the past, I worked with schizophrenic patients. It can be difficult to deal with a situation at times. I had one patient who thought he was Jesus because his appearance was like a magician’. He was experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations, and voices told him that since you are the god, you should command everyone to follow him. Suddenly, he began jumping and running in the corridor, scaring other people as he became overly excited. He was unreachable, becoming more grandiose and running around thinking that everyone else is his disciple. To prevent his behavior from causing harm to himself or others, he received the PRN shot to calm himself. He was unquestionably discharged with antipsychotic medication. Schizophrenia is a genuine psychological disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and acts. Individuals suffering from schizophrenia may appear to be completely distracted, causing distress for the individual, their relatives, and their friends. When left untreated, the symptoms of schizophrenia can be persistent and incapacitating (Schizophrenia, n.d.).Positive symptoms of schizophrenia include hallucination, delusion, and a disorganized thought process. Loss of interest in life, social isolation, lack of insight, flat affect, lack of motivation, and suicidal thoughts are all negative symptoms. Most of the cases I’ve seen had positive symptoms, which is good in one way because the other side is very dark, and the patient takes a long time to recover.References:Schizophrenia. (n.d.).
