I will pay for the following article A Tour of Hearst Castle in San Simeon California. The work is to be 5 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Another thing people don’t often mention about going to Santa Barbara is the variety of shops available and the unique experience they offer. Unlike the typical mall experience, shopping in Santa Barbara means walking around cheery fountains that help keep you cool just by looking at them. One of our favourites was the dolphin fountain that features two dolphins jumping clear out of the pool in a graceful double arc. There are also plenty of green growing things happening between the stores. The stores themselves offer all kinds of unique items from produce to art to pottery and other items. The shops here remind you that California was once a part of Mexico, with the Spanish style architecture and the old-fashioned cobbled streets. The old buildings bring in a sense of history that is completely lost when driving through the more modern homes of Malibu and the welcoming openness of the marketplaces are decidedly different from the guarded facades of the homes of the stars. There are lots of different tours available at Hearst Castle that let visitors look at all kinds of different things, but my girlfriend and I decided to take Tour 1, which is a general overview of the castle. The tour included a look at the gardens, the pools, the guest house and the main house. We also had a chance to watch a short movie that told all about the history of the castle. The gardens are full of all kinds of different flowering plants and sculptures. The way the pathways and garden art is placed provides lots of chances for people to sit and just enjoy the view.
