The genre appears on a brochure and is used by companies to market themselves.
Additionally, the genre is created by marketers and is used in marketing to market products and
services. In the genre, the content that is typically included is the type of drinks served in
luxuries restaurant and the kind of environment that surrounds people who visit these beautiful
restaurants. Furthermore, we have berries which are included in the genre, berries are used to
make wine and can be eaten too meaning that the wine is safe for consumption. The content that
is excluded in this genre is other kinds of drinks apart from wine.
The text in this genre is structured in description pattern whereby it gives a detailed
description of thing such as about us where we see detailed explanation thus, making the reader
form a mental picture. The format of the text in this genre comprises of headings and body
paragraph while as the text layout looks like it is oriented to the left. The kind of language most
commonly used in this genre is formal language because the tone, the way words are put together,
and the choice of words is less personal and more professional.
The patterns revealed about the situation is the move pattern because it follows a
recognized and acceptable means of giving information for instance Starts with the logo then
convincing headline followed by about us then content. The participant needs to know more
about the wine being sold by the company in order to appreciate the genre. Moreover, the people
that are invited by the genre are customers who would be interested in buying red wine from the
restaurant being advertised. Children are excluded from the genres thus the reason only old
people and young adults appear in the genre.
The values revealed through the genre patterns are a glass of wine worth when relaxing
or having fun. The beliefs are to trust that the wine is made from the berries, and the goals are to
have as many as possible enjoy a glass of wine. Furthermore, the assumptions are everyone who
sees the brochure drinks wine and will get in touch with the company through the phone numbers
provided.
The subject of the genre which is wine made from berries is treated as important because
it appears regularly on the brochure. Additionally, the content that is considered most important
is about the company because of the long paragraph used in to explain. On the other hand, the
content that is ignored is on the restaurant staff and structures because little is written about them.
The genre makes it possible to encourage the readers to drink wine and choose from a
variety of different available wines. In addition to this, the attitude towards people that are
implied in this genre is that people are logical and will be reasonable in their drinking habits so
that wine won’t affect them. Finally, the genre tells us that culture is the sum of people beliefs
and attitudes thus, people who drink wine live luxuries lives, have friends to enjoy and have fun
with and are reasonable people.

Important of a Brochure
A brochure is a document which is designed to talk more of a place. In general it is a
document that act as a guide to individuals visiting a place. In most of the times, a brochure
appears in places such as hotels, attractions sites and also in airport. Most of the individuals who
uses brochures are the different people who travel to places and they want to know in detail
about a place, for example, tourist will need a brochure so that they can learn more about a place
before the actual travel to the place. The brochure is created by the management of the
destination and design it in an authentic way so that it can be appealing to the eyes of individuals
who will it.
Most of the times, the brochure is used to market a place or a destination such as United
States of America. A client may be travelling to a place but he or she does not have a clear image
of the particular place. Therefore, creation of the brochure will help the visitor to identify the
different things which are found in the place. In general the purpose of a brochure is that, it is
used to communicate more about a place and it can be used to attract visitors even before
travelling to the place. Therefore, it is importance for individuals who come up with the brochure
to design it in a way that it is appealing to the minds of people who will utilize it in the place.
The contents which is always included in a brochure includes the name, location, distance,
what the destination has to offer and in the same time prices of different commodities in the
destination. This is much importance because, clients will have easier time in learning about the
place. The content which should not appear in the brochure, is the negative attributes that the

destination has experienced over time. Therefore, it is not necessary to talk about the negativity
of the place.
In most of the times, when preparing a brochure, it is important to employ the point form
when structuring or designing the brochure. This will make individuals who will use the
brochure to have easier time. Also, the language used when designing a brochure should be
simple and direct. This will make the users of the brochure to learn much about a place within a
limited time.
The participants will appreciate a brochure that is not exaggerated to make them feel
happy. It is importance to exactly talk about the place without exaggeration since the clients will
appreciate it all through. Individuals who are invited to use a brochure are people who can bring
benefit to the place all the time and are in a position to talk positive about the destination.
Individuals who would talk ill of the place should not be allowed in using the brochure since
they can harm the destination with time. The contest which is considered most in the brochure is
how the destination will employ different strategies to ensure that all the customers feel
appreciated and their needs and desires catered for all the time.
People will have different attitude about a brochure and it is important as the
management of a destination to listen to all since it can help the place to upgrade the brochure
and the place when there is good communication among stakeholders. A brochure will discuss
more about the culture of a place all the time since it includes the key cultures found in the place.
Therefore, a brochure is a useful document which talk more of a place.
