I need this redone some one copy and pasted. the references can be used.  Does social media enhance or hinder interpersonal relationships is the subject. This assignment is not an essay but an exercise that helps build toward your Final Paper for the course. Your task in this assignment is to construct the best argument you can for a position on a controversial topic. Your argument should be your own creation. You may take inspiration from other arguments, but the formulation of the argument you present should be original to you.Prepare:Construct an argument for a position on the topic. This is the position that you will defend in your Final Paper. Make your argument as high quality as possible: In particular, make sure that all of your premises are true and that the truth of the conclusion is demonstrated by your premises. Consider possible objections to your argument, and revise it several times until you have an argument that is as strong as possible. Search in the Ashford University Library for quality academic sources that support some aspect of your argument. Constructing quality arguments is harder than it sounds; you may find that your first few attempts have problems and that it takes quite a bit of time and effort to revise an argument to a point that the premises adequately support the conclusion. You will be revising this argument for each of the remaining assignments in this course.Write: In your paper, Present a main argument in standard form with each premise and the conclusion on a separate line. Here is an example of what it means for an argument to be presented in standard form: All men are mortal. Socrates is a man. Therefore, Socrates is mortal. Provide support for each premise of your argument. Explain the meaning of the premise, and provide supporting evidence for the premise. [One paragraph for each premise]Pay special attention to those premises that could be seen as controversial. Evidence may include academic research sources, supporting arguments, or other ways of demonstrating the truth of the premise (for more ideas about how to support the truth of premises take a look at the instructor guidance for this week). This section should include at least one scholarly research source. For further information about discovering and including high-quality research take a look at the FindIt@AU Tutorial.Explain how your conclusion follows from your premises. For an example of how to complete this paper, take a look at the Week One Annotated Example The Ethics of Elephants in Circuses. Let your instructor know if you have any remaining questions about how to complete this paper.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP
Does a Social medium enhance or hinder interpersonal relationship?
Social media hinders interpersonal relationship.
Social media is a group of internet-based applications that build on the ideological and
technological foundations that allow the creation and exchange of user generated content.
Examples of common social media sites include Face book, Twitter and linked in among others.
Social media helps to keep us connected with friends and family that probably we would not
have connected with. However, research has proved that social media is not helping us as much
as we think it does (Ryan, & Deci, 2000).
Many people on social media get glued on it following the topics that are trending that they fail
to notice what is going on around them. This in return has caused them to interact less with the
people around them as their attention is diverted. By neglecting the people around them they
unintentionally send a message they are not interested in them or they have better things to do.
These causes’ problems as it creates a rift between themselves and others leading to poor
interpersonal relationships (Valkenburg, Peter, & Schouten, 2006).
Engaging in social media distance you from the real world may at sometimes convince
individuals that they have a lot of friends in the social media. The question is, are they really
your friends, can they befriend and care about you outside social media. By engaging in social
media it makes you to stop hanging with other people as often as you would. These leads to the
isolation of an individual that may at the long run cause personal unhappiness affecting their
interpersonal relationships (Markus, 1994).

Social media sends a false message. People only post the positive side of their life and not the
negative. These may result to envy to the one seemingly looks successful (Ryan, & Deci, 2000).
Social media facilitates alienation from loved ones and can have a negative effect on the
interpersonal relationships you hold with people who are physically with you (Valkenburg, Peter,
& Schouten, 2006).
Being distracted with social media and neglecting family can send the unintentional message that
you are uninterested. It also increases the chances of becoming envious of the people you see and
communicate with online (Markus, 1994).
Lastly, the social media correlates with unhappiness of the users because it can make a person to
become alienating. The action of being alienating makes one become lonelier and less happy
(Markus, 1994).
In conclusion social media is good when used for the right course like communicating with
distant relatives but when used to the extreme it becomes a hindrance to interpersonal
relationships (Valkenburg, Peter, & Schouten, 2006).
