Zoroastrianism, Shinto, and Judaism: Please respond to TWO of the
following questions:
1.Discuss the significance of the
“special covenant” between the Jewish people and God. Name at least two
examples of this covenant in the Jewish religion.
2.Describe and identify at least one
of the roots of Shinto, and explain why Shinto is not always considered a
religion.
3.Zoroastrianism is likely the first
and is certainly the oldest monotheistic still practiced today. What
Zoroastrian doctrines or practices can we find in both Eastern and Western
religions today? Give specific examples for at least one Eastern and one
Western religion.
