You will be developing a digital slide show presentation complete with presenters notes. Your topic will be a nation, geographical region or ethnicity that is not represented in the textbook. Students can easily reference which nations are covered by scanning the textbooks Table of Contents. As you consider your selection, please do not select any area that is native to you, or that you have a fair amount of experience with. My hope is that youll consider this presentation project to be an opportunity for a more in-depth study of a specific foreign culture that interests you.
Youll be using a slide show presentation software program for this assignment. I recommend Microsofts PowerPoint, and it is provided to students free for educational use. Youre also welcome to use another slide show presentation program such as Google Slides or Apple Keynote, however please note that Ill be less capable of supporting the use of these other programs.
