Write a six-paragraph essay critiquing the assigned work of art. Essay should include an image of the artwork and a reference page. Themes and descriptions of each paragraph can be found below.
Introduction: State what the reader should expect, what are you about to say?
Description: careful list of all the things you see in the artwork (Elements of Art)
Analysis: how are the elements arranged (Principles of Art)?
Interpretation: why was the work created?
Judgement: how do you feel about the work; what do you like/dont like?
Conclusion: Restate (summarize) what the essay was about
