Using the research on Classroom Instruction That Works, students will work in groups of two or three to
present one of the research-based strategies for increasing student achievement. Your group task is to do
the following:
a). Discuss the research behind the strategy to which you have been assigned.
b). Make a presentation to your class on the content of this strategy, explaining the instructional
highlights of using this strategy to enhance literacy or numeracy.
c). Provide a hands-on demonstration/ activity of this teaching strategy.
d).Create a PowerPoint to be used during your presentation and upload to our Google Shared Drive
Folder for this course.
e) Explain how you have used this strategy in your own teaching style.
