Once you have selected your topic, developed your various points through prewriting, and determined which points you will use, you should create an outline to organize your points, provide possible evidence, examples, source documentation, etc., and to have a clear idea of the way you intend to introduce your topic, present your thesis, develop your points as they relate to your thesis, and conclude your paper.
Review the ideas you have generated. Then:
Write a thesis statement that incorporates the main idea of all their key points from the list, cluster, etc. you have created.

Write a possible introduction or introductory idea to open your paper and engage the reader.
(one or two sentences)
Present at least 3 (but no more than 4) key points, or specific aspects of your thesis you wish to discuss.
(one sentence or bullet point for each point)
Determine ways that you will explain, provide, or develop your points (documentation, example, etc.) and write these as part of your outline.
(list a possible source or source type, such as CDC datam university study, etc. for each point)
Decide on a possible conclusion or concluding idea.
