This is a two-part assignment. In the first part, each student will participate in at least one in-class presentation offered in our synchronous sessions in weeks 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14. The student team will be assigned to present on a setting(s) presented in the designated modules.
These presentations will be supported by a PowerPoint presentation that houses slides which cover the critical areas noted in the assignment rubric.
The second part of this assignment involves a paper that each student will write to summarize at least one of the settings discussed in that weeks presentations. These presentations will provide the student with the content needed to write this summary that will then be submitted the Sunday after the presentation(s). In addition to the summary of the presentation(s), the student will identify an agency (local regional/state) and outline how social workers perform their roles in that agency.
