The topic of this term paper is the benefits of the union. The power of the union is the power of the people, this is the voice behind safer workplaces, higher wages, and better long-term and short-term benefits. The standard that a workers union puts in place sets the standard to keep low-income workers fair. Public transportation, healthcare, construction, and education are all part of a union in order to keep standards fair and in line with high-paying white-collar jobs. The union is used to stop child labor, provide health benefits, and ensure a safe and effective retirement. The reason for a union was originally put in place order to secure a middle class, rather than just rich and poor.
Thesis Statement :
This paper will define the positive outcomes of the use of labor unions; in order to provide equal working conditions, positive benefits, and encourage democracy in the workplace.
