The annotated bibliography constitutes 10% of your final grade. Each student will need to research a topic for their research paper, as described in their project proposal. Students will be introduced to search strategies in terms of a wide variety of print and digital sources including articles, interviews, or news sources. The annotated bibliography should be written in MLA format and include four to six sources, with each annotation consisting of 50 to 75 words. At least two of the sources must be from a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal, or an otherwise reputable source. We will discuss in class what constitutes reliability.
