Re-contextualize Presentation: First, select a work of art from the google.doc (click on the above link). First come, first serve; note the due date for your selected work.
Then create your presentation. Find a contemporary work of art, in any medium, that either perpetuates or discounts the values/beliefs/norms conveyed in your chosen work. In an approximately 10 minute Voice-Thread presentation (narrated PowerPoint of images), discuss the content of your chosen work, show the contemporary (late 20th/21st American century) piece, naming artist, title, size, medium, location, then convey how the new work connects to the old. Have the values/beliefs/norms originally espoused dissipated or inflated? If the former, what new standards have taken their place? Be sure to include a Works Cited slide at the end of your presentation for specific information and images used. Voice-Thread presentations must be uploaded on assigned due date
