Provide argumentative defenses for the answers to three related moral problems by applying normative theories and prescribe specific actions which an agent ought to do as a result of your conclusions.
Answering the moral questions using the appropriate theory requires citing primary sources and discussing the theory. Its vital that you name your theory, cite (even quote) its key principles, and write to an audience who is unfamiliar with them.
In most cases, successful essays spend at least a paragraph or two talking just about theory.
Be sure not to miss that each question needs two responses.
* Clearly states at least two important moral questions, defends their importance, and explains whatever relevant controversies exist within them.
* Accurately and substantially demonstrates how two moral theories, use (utilitarianism and, Kantianism)
would respond to each question by, in each case, describing and applying a specific moral theory to a specific theory.
* Gives one tangible, practical activity which a person ought to carry out in response to at least two of the offered questions.
be sure to pose them clearly preferably in the introduction and then again in the body of the paper.
Since the the whole body of the paper functions in relation to the questions, you dont want them to be ambiguous or hidden. They should be clearly stated. Successful projects present simply stated, unambiguous questions.
One common mistake is to leave out the second and third part of this task.
Let your reader know why these questions deserve their attention.
There are a lot of questions that could be asked why should the reader attend to these and not others? A successful paper justifies its inquiry as worthwhile.
1.Summarize the 2-3 most important moral questions which emerge out of your Topic.
What are the questions?
Why are they important?
Which are the most controversial today? Why are they controversial?
2.For each question, describe how at least two moral theories would tell us how to respond?
(utilitarianism, Kantianism, or virtue theory)
-What answer does each theory give?
-How and why does it give this answer? (Explain the reasoning and use research.)
3.For each question, describe at least one tangible, practical activity which a person ought to do as a response to the moral problems you identify.
-What, specifically, should a person do in response to these problems?
-For what reason should they do these things? (Explain the reasoning.)
Please do not approach this paper as if youre only summarizing your work. The paper should contain everything necessary to make your arguments including presentation of course texts and any relevant outside research. A reference page is required. Citations are required.
