Make sure to read the introductions to each document, but base most of your responses on the primary document.
Good responses will have all or most of these: at least one statement that directly responds to/answers the question (think in broad terms), a quote from the text that supports your answer, a paraphrase of the quote, and an explanation for why the quote supports your answer.
Include specific page numbers, and section numbers (where applicable), in parentheses for quick reference; it will be best to include left or right column as well. (Ex. pg. 211, right column)
