Introduction and Alignment
Every countrys healthcare system is organized to diagnose and treat individuals health problems. They each also consist of a health care workforce, practice setting, and organizations responsible for workforce training, research, and system oversight. In many ways, the U.S. healthcare system is similar to those of other countries. Yet, it is also unique among those countries in significant ways. The United States healthcare system is more decentralized and private than the systems in other Westernized countries. There is not a single national government entity paying for or operating the health care system. The federal government plays an important role, as well do states and the private sector.
Upon completion of this assignment, you should be able to:

Provide a 2-3 page comparative analysis of the U.S. healthcare system and another world healthcare system. Choose a single payer system such as Canada or Taiwan, an Insurance Mandated System such as Germany or Switzerland, or a hybrid system such as England.
Compare things such as healthcare financing, healthcare quality, life expectancy, healthcare policies and management, and discuss how these things are impacted by their surrounding culture.
What are the best attributes of each system and what needs improvement? What system would you recommend and why?
Point to practices that could integrate into the U.S. healthcare system to improve the value of healthcare delivery while preserving many of the pillars the system already has in place.
Include a minimum of two supporting academic resources beyond the textbook.
