A number of institutions have enacted rules intended to reduce the consumption of certain food and beverage products. Leaders of Chile have enacted such rules, as have leaders in Berkeley, California. Please read the articles about Chile and Berkeley. Next, assume that you are an adviser for a community-based organization that focuses on health. Please compose a policy brief for your organization that outlines its ideas for a soda tax based upon the consumer theory assumptions illustrated during this module.
