In this reflection paper, you will examine the process of creating gender or sexual identities, that is, the process an individual goes through as they recognize who they are and embrace themselves and their identity. For the purpose of this paper, you will select one of the identities to examine either gender or sexual. Since this is a very emotionally charged topic and something we often manage privately, you are welcome to talk about a famous person, or someone you know and give them a pseudonym, or, if you feel comfortable doing so, you may talk about yourself.

Write a 3-page, double spaced, Times New Roman 12pt font paper that discusses the process of creating gender or sexual identitiesIntroduce who and what identity you will be discussing.
Explain how this process started, thinking about the actions but also the feelings involved and the responses received by the individual
Explore how the acceptance process, both internal and external of the individual, took place. Think about things like was it a smooth process? Bullying and hate? Was it a normal process by societys terms? Did it take a long time?
How did the individual progress? What feelings did they have and how did they make it happen? Did they have a choice or were they forced to move forward?
Conclude with the current status of this individual and their identity. Are they happy? Accepted?
