In one page, you will summarize the author’s main argument – what is their main
concern and how did they support their claim? Obviously, you need to choose a source
that actually makes an argument.
2. In one page, you will write a critique of their argument noting areas of strengths,
weaknesses, clarity of arguments, or pressing counter claims that you would like to
make (e.g., a feminist critique of the argument). Please note that critiquing the author’s
style, use of jargon, or density of their writing is not appropriate for this paper. I’m
interested in their arguments, not how easy the article is to read.
