Im going to ask you to read and then summarize and critically respond to an article after this page. We will do this a number of times this semester, so this probably wont be the first time we talk about assignments. Thesis and Main Ideas Summary:
What key question or problem does the author/text address?
What is the authors thesis or main point?
What are the key passages or key moments in the text?
Critical Response:
Where do you agree or disagree?
Does the essay have contradictions or errors in logic?
What ideas, arguments, or points of view does this writing leave out?
What specific language (quote) are you responding to? It must be two full typed pages of writing. You must use MLA format and guidelines. I expect you to quotes (2-3)
