Drawing from the students previously submitted reference page, the argumentative research paper will argue for and defend;using logical reasoning and reliable researched evidence a particular position about a research topic. The student should demonstrate an understanding of the difference between an opinion and an argument because persuasive research emphasizes logos over other kinds of rhetorical appeal.
