SENTIMENTALITY
Will there, ever again, be such a thing as a happy ending? Is the 21st Century so cynical that an unhappy ending is inexorable? Or is it possible that those of you who have never known a world without cell phones, the internet, and computers can actually BELIEVE IN A HAPPY OUTCOME? What is your personal attitude about HAPPY ENDINGS??? Are they possible?
Is a happy ending nothing more than a false hope? Are happy endings always CORNY, unbelievable, and absurd?
