1.The Ten Elements of Effective Instruction No unread replies. No replies. I dont know about you, but I agree with the ten recommended parts of instruction provided on page 50. I notice that some are interconnected. Numbers 2, 3, 4, and 7 are necessary to achieve number 1. Students do not feel supported and able to learn if a teacher is not transparent about their expectations. Students do not feel mentally confident if the instruction is not explicit. Students will not arrive at the state of an independent thinker or doer if the instruction is one big mystery for them to solve. Please carefully read each of the Ten Elements of Effective Instruction. Choose five of those elements that speak to you as an individual or to your personal teaching style. Explain the purpose behind each element that you personally agree with. Why is it a part of this list of effectiveness? 2. Final Powerpoinnt: You should submit your lesson plan or include your lesson plan at the beginning of the PPT (if you have difficulty embedding or adding the docx file, just upload it separately) and then use the rest of the slide show to basically show me how you would teach that plan. You will get more detail in the module where your final is found.
