The length of the submission MUST be at least the minimum. Only use words in the body of the paper toward word count. Click on the following link for information on setting up word count on MS Word:

For direct quotes from sources, please use parenthetical citations in MLA format. Right-click on the link for MLA format info: MLA format (Links to an external site.).
Remember that all quotes should be followed (or preceded) by an explanation of the quote. You should strive for, at least, two typed lines of your own explanation for every typed line of quote.
Make sure to include a Works Cited page. Look at this link for info on how to format and what to include in a Works Cited page.
This assignment is not intended to be a research paper. My expectations are that you will demonstrate an earnest engagement with the topic of the assignment and the primary texts. Make sure to dedicate attention to defining all terms. Do not cite dictionaries when providing definitions, though. Use your own words to explain the key terms of the topic.
This assignment is due Wednesday, March 30 at 11:59:00 pm (almost midnight).
Write a 250 to 300-word reflection upon class material that fulfills the following:
Using the class discussion recordings and the text as a foundation, explain how ONE of Beauvoirs inauthentic attitudes that she discusses in Chapter 2 of The Ethics of Ambiguity parallels ONE of the ways or approaches that Sartre explains people try to cover over or deny existential anguish and abandonment. A strong response to this assignment should include a clear and full description of the concepts of each thinker, respectively.
