1) Write an original story in Spanish. This story should be your own creation and the product of your own ideas, using the storytelling concepts you have seen in this class. These concepts include a specific type of narrator, a well-thought-out message, an organized plot (exposition, development, suspense, turning point, climax, and denouement), dialogue, setting, tone, and irony. Consider the reader of your narrative (the teacher) and thus take into account the communication code that is on page 11 of Approaches.
Although your task is to write an original story, you must be inspired by one of the stories you have read in Spanish and thus follow the style of one of the great literary masters. Your story must be two (2) pages long and have an unexpected ending.
2) Write an analysis of no more than one page about your story. In your analysis you explain how your story meets the standards of a narrative and why you decided to produce a story written and organized in this way. Talk about your inspiration and the other creative decisions you made using the narrative terms learned.
