Attend a court hearing (a motion, trial, OR sentencing) in any county you wish and observe for the length of the proceeding or for at least two (2) hours, whichever is more.

I would recommend taking detailed notes. You can use the clerk of court and the bailiffs as resources to determine which courtroom you should be, where you should sit, etc.  standard format, APA.
