1. You will design a job description and person specification from the job analysis for a human resource manager.
2. You will compare 3 applicants through their application form and identify their strengths and weaknesses.
3. You will look at the 3 applicants and decide who you would select to go through to the selection stage.
4. You will choose a selection method for the selection process and design that method in order to select a suitable candidate.
5. You will design an onboarding process for the new candidate.
6. You will explain why human resource and employment relations are so important to hospitality and tourism.
Your assessment will include:
1. A section that includes a job description and person specification for a human resource manager.
2. A section explaining which candidate you would choose to go through to the next stage.
3. A section with a selection method you have chosen, then explain and justify your selection decision by explaining why you selected this method.
4. A section in which you have designed an onboarding process for the new human resource manager.
5. A section that explains why human resource management and employment relations is so important to hospitality and tourism.
