Solved by a verified expert:I recently learned that excess glucose is converted to glycogen by the liver.when a person is either pre-diabetic for type II diabetes or is a type II diabetic their body may not release an adequate amount of insulin and this will cause the blood glucose levels to be increased. Does this mean that all of the excess glucose would be transported out of the blood by the liver?
