Use both the textbook and outside resources such as the Internet and library resources.Step 2 Create a presentation.Design a five- to eight-slide PowerPoint presentation. The slides should present an introduction to the Techniques of Neutralization (who developed the theory, why it was developed, etc.), the five techniques, an example of each as it relates to ethics in policing and a real life example (can be a personal example of a time when you or someone you know has used a technique to neutralize your feelings about an act or one you make up).
