Interview a classroom teacher and an administrator (principal or curriculum director/facilitator) in an
elementary, middle, or high school (according to your content area). The teacher and the administrator
must be in the same school district, but they do not need to be at the same campus.
Prepare a list of questions prior to talking to a professional educator. This allows you to make good use
of the time and to compare and contrast answers from the different interviewees.
Take notes or record responses during the interviews.
Summarize the information you gather from the interviews. Write one to two paragraphs for each
interview, documenting who you spoke with and what was said.
Identify and discuss the educational perspective(s) used by each interviewee, which comparing and
contrasting interviews.
Include the interview questions at the end of your paper.
