All papers must have a cover page, with the course name and number, your name and a title for
your paper. This page should not be numbered or have a header/ footer.
On page 2 of your paper, you must have a short abstract of your paper describing what you have
done. Below the abstract, you must include a few Keywords for your paper. Examples for
economics can look like this:
Keywords: economics, Holocaust, wealth, Jews
You will begin your paper on the next page. Start with a short introduction to the Holocaust and
to the subject of economics. Include a thesis statement. Eg. In the following paper, I will
examine a number of articles which deal with the relationship of economics to the Holocaust, to
evaluate which papers are most relevant to the subject.
The next five paragraphs will be a description of the five papers you have chosen. Each paper
will be described in one paragraph. You must include specific examples from the paper, of why
you think this paper made your list. Use the vocabulary you have learned in economics: supply,
demand, scarcity, free-market, competition, marginal utility, economies of scale etc.
In the next paragraph you must describe the two papers you have left out of your list, and explain
briefly, using economics vocabulary, why these two sources were not as good as the above five.
End your paper with a brief conclusion.
On the next page, create a References page. List all the articles here, as well as the two
textbooks. The entries must be alphabetized and follow the APA style:
